For the first time in 107 years, Camp Roger, 8356 Belding Rd NE, Rockford, has canceled overnight camps. Its been replaced with a new program called Go Camp Roger and Go Camp Scottie, day camp style programs. Camp Roger allows family to look at the flex plan, to be able to pay what they can afford. One way the camp will now get funding is through The Acorn Resale Shop, located on the same property.
The Acorn Resale Shop will have a grand opening on June 10 at 9am until 6pm. Special shopping hours on Thursday, June 11 for those over 60, those who are pregnant, and those with chronic conditions.
