The United Way's Day of Caring is the organization's largest corporate volunteer event. Every September, hundreds of employees from companies across Kent County "report to work" at local nonprofit agencies.

As a result of the pandemic, the United Way has adjusted the Day of Caring to an entire Month of Caring, providing plenty of time and opportunities to help out in the community.

There are opportunities for people of all ages. Companies, families, and individuals can all participate in Month of Caring.

Month of Caring includes in-person volunteering, virtual volunteering, giving blood, learning about local issues, and DIY projects to donate to nonprofit agencies.

After participating in one or more Month of Caring activity, such as giving blood or watching a documentary about food security, take a moment to complete the activity log.
