Greater Ottawa Co. United way is one of the main resources people reach out to in times of trouble, especially now with COVID-19. From helping people find a job to keeping the lights on to supplying families with diapers, and so much more, they have plenty of resources for families in West Michigan.
The Community Recovery Fund will help fill the gaps over the next four months by investing in the services most needed by the community.
Prior to the crisis, United Way's services touched more than 65,000 in our community, and we expect that the ripples of COVID will double the number that needs ongoing support.
Donations made to the Community Recovery Fund will be matched up to $250,000 thanks to generous sponsors. This will be taking place until September 30.
