A gentle giant by the name of Rocco visited FOX 17 Morning Mix. He is currently at the Humane Society of West Michigan waiting for his forever home. Rocco loves people, older kids and seems to do well with other dogs. It is uknown how he does with cats or small critters.
Rocco along with dozens of others will be apart of the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters event on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 11a.m to 4pm. During this time, all adult cats and dogs are fee waived. Visitors will also enjoy pictures with Santa and a delcious holiday bake sale. To view animals up for adoption, visit hswestmi.org
Come get your pet a $20 microchip on Thursday, Dec. 19 from 4pm to 6pm at Chow Hand, Standale. You can register them for free through HSWM. No pre-registration for a microchip is required.
