GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Northview was up against one of the area's best on Friday night in the nightcap of the Aquinas College Legends Invitational. The Wildcats would trail by ten at the half until the Cougars turned it up a notch in the second half to cruise to an 84-52 victory.
"We played a good team effort, I have a lot of faith in my team, we think we can beat anyone in the state," guard Devon Boyd said.
The Cougars will take on East Grand Rapids on Saturday in the Legends championship game at 7:30 pm inside the Sturrus Center.
"We came out with a lot of energy, we had a big win on Saturday, our goal was to keep getting better and better every game, this was the next step," head coach TJ Meerman said.
