PARK TWP., Mich. – A 63-year-old man was injured in a three-vehicle accident Saturday when he failed to successfully negotiate a curve in the road.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s office says it happened Saturday after 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Quincy Street.
Deputies say the West Olive man was driving northbound on Lakeshore Drive when he crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driving southbound nearly head-on.
The third vehicle involved was driving behind the car that was struck head-on and did not have enough time to stop and hit the back on that car.
The West Olive man was taken to Holland Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
No one else was injured in the incident and police say everyone was wearing their seat belt.
