EAST LANSING, Mich — Vicksburg scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and came from behind to beat Livonia Ladywood 7-5 Thursday in a division two state semifinal game at Michigan State University.
Ladywood scored three times in the first inning and two more in the third for a 5-0 lead. The Bulldogs fought back with two in the third and the big fourth inning to take the lead.
Alicia Cagney was 2-3 with a run scored and an RBI for Vicksburg, Carlie Kudary and Kalie Yant each scored two runs, Kudary also drove in a pair.
Vicksburg (36-8) advances to Saturdays 12:30 p.m. championship game against the winner of Escanaba and Richmond.
