GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Body camera footage is giving us a look at the moments just after an off-duty Grand Rapids Police Sergeant foiled a would-be bank robbery.
Sergeant Tom Warwick was off-duty when he encountered Durand Lee, who just happened to have allegedly robbed a downtown Grand Rapids bank.
Police say that Lee would have made off with about $5,600 if not for Warwick's quick thinking. He's now facing federal charges.
Warwick activated his body camera before the encounter.
He was later honored by the bank for his quick thinking actions.
