WEST OLIVE, Mich. – Harbor Humane Society along with close to twenty other animal organizations across the area are continuing their push to clear their shelters, and they’re offering some pretty enticing incentives for potential pet owners during the month of May.
On Saturday, May 7th, Harbor Humane and their participating counterparts will offer free adoptions from noon until 5 p.m.
The only cost associated with adoption will be a $10 licensing fee for dogs. Along with a new pet, Bissell, who is sponsoring the event, will provide new owners with an ‘adopt box’ full of essentials to make acclimating you pet into its new lifestyle a cinch.
