GRAND RAPIDS, Mich - What better way to welcome in Spring than with a festive run for a good cause!
It's the 33rd annual Irish Jig 5K hosted by Spectrum Health happening Saturday, March 19th.
The event promotes colorectal cancer awareness, which is the second-leading cause of deaths for men and women in the United States. There will also be free colorectal screening kits available at the race.
It's happening at 9:00 a.m. at East Grand Rapids High School with staggered start times for runners.
Registration is $30 for adults before race day.
