You could be part of a world record! All you need is a rubber chicken…

Posted

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A few rubber chickens and the dedication of people across West Michigan could get a world record back into the hands of the Grand Rapids community.

As an unofficial kickoff to this year’s LaughFest, a rubber chicken toss on the first day of the festival will aim to get the region into the record books. The current record, which once belonged to Grand Rapids, requires more than 999 participants. The toss will take place March 10 at 5:30 p.m. at Calder Plaza. That event will also coincide with the first day of the festival.

Everyone is encouraged to participate regardless of age. Bring your rubber chickens if you have them!
