Former Holland Christian quarterback Kirk Cousins and ex-South Christian signal caller Jon Wassink will lead their respective alma maters in a head-to-head touch football game on May 7 at Holland Christian High School.
The game is the brainchild of Cousins, who led his 2006 alumni team against A.J. Westendorp’s 2008 squad in last year’s inaugural “GAME ON” match-up. Westendorp’s team won, 39-24.
Cousins is currently the starting quarterback for the NFL’s Washington Redskins and just signed a one-year franchise tag contract worth nearly $20 million.
Wassink has just finished his first season at Western Michigan, where he redshirted as the team’s third-string quarterback. He helped South Christian to two state championships during his time with the Sailors.
