GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The northbound lanes of the East Beltline M-44 were shut down around 7:15 a.m. by a rollover crash involving a truck pulling several minivans. The minivans ended up strewn across the highway on their sides.
The crash took place when the truck hauling the minivans ran the red light at Knapp Street and collided with a pickup. The driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital but is expected to recover.
All lanes were reopened around 9:15 a.m.
