Grand Valley signed 23 student athletes on national signing day. The Lakers with a focus along the offensive and defensive lines with their 2016 class, while also bringing in a strong group of wide receivers. Ferris State signed 24 players on Wednesday, 13 defensive players and 11 on the offensive side of the ball. Eight of the 24 players to sign with the Bulldogs hail from the Grand Rapids area.
