ROCKFORD, Mich — Quinn Nordin, whose recruitment by Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh made national headlines earlier in January, has decommited from Penn State and will open his recruitment back up — just six days shy of National Signing Day on February 3.
Nordin, the top-ranked high school kicker in the country, made the announcement Wednesday night on Twitter. “I believe the best path for my future and career no longer exists at Penn State,” he said in a statement.
Nordin added that he will visit the University of Southern California this weekend — and will officially sign with a school at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
