WYOMING, Mich. — A 32-year-old man from Florida died in the crash that closed northbound US-131 early Wednesday morning. Michigan State Police confirmed the death in the crash that occurred at 3:11 a.m. on northbound US-131 north of 28th Street. The highway was closed until 5:35 a.m.
MSP did not release the identity of the victim pending notification of family.
The driver of the car crashed into a Kent County Road Commission truck that was pulling a trailer. No one else was hurt in the crash.
It is not known if alcohol or drugs were involved, but MSP said the crash investigation continues.
