GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — It’s the speed of Grand Rapids Christian (3-1) against the strength of Hudsonville (3-1) in the game of the week Friday.
“It’s going to be a great game if we step up to the plate and if we do the things that we do we should have a chance, but they are a good team and we expect a great battle” GR Christian quarterback Lucas Fotis said.
Last year Grand Rapids Christian scored two touchdowns in the final ten minutes to erase a 13 point deficit and beat Hudsonville, 35-34.
“We think we are well prepared the beginning of our season we don’t have any game off and that helped us prepare mentally and physically for this game and of course each game gets tougher so we are prepring like we always do but this is good for us” Hudsonville wide receiver Cooper Cecchini said.
The Red, White and Blue Bell will be on the line in our game of the week as rivals Montague (4-0) and Whitehall (3-1) collide in a huge rivalry game. The Wildcats had won seven straight in the series before the Vikings took last years contest, 48-20.
