GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Want to work with Grand Rapids’ finest? Now is your chance. GRPD announced they will be hiring between 10-14 new officers this fall.
New recruits would begin December 7. Anyone wishing to apply must do so by the end of the day September 10, and can do so at the GRPD human resources website.
Completion of a Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards approved police academy is required for all those who apply. Applicants who are still enrolled in an academy may apply if they will graduate on or before November 30.
