Sobeski leads Bronson past Montague and into the state championship game

EAST LANSING, Mich -- Bronson senior pitcher Skyler Sobeski was dominant Friday, striking out 12 and allowing just 2 hits and the Vikings beat Montague, 5-0, in a division 3 softball state semifinal at Michigan State's Secchia Stadium.

The Vikings scored a run in the first and then added 4 in the 5th thanks to a 2-run singles from Kelsey Robinson and Sobeski.

Bronson (37-7) moves on to play Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central (36-5) in the championship game Saturday at 5:30 p.m..
