GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — The OK Conference has announced its new alignment beginning in the 2016-2017 school year. The high school conference is adding Fruitport and Spring Lake, previously of the Lakes 8 conference, bringing its total number of schools to 50.
The new alignment will feature one division (OK Red) with eight schools and six divisions with seven schools.
Caledonia and Jenison make the jump from the OK White to the OK Red, while the White gets five new schools to join Lowell and Forest Hills Central.
Zeeland East and Zeeland West will once again be in the same division as the Chix move to the Green.
Grand Rapids Catholic Central and West Catholic will be together for the first time since the City League days as the Cougars join the OK Blue.
