WYOMING, Mich. — A 17-year-old student was struck by a car on Prairie Parkway Wednesday morning.
The student was reported afterwards in serious but stable condition at a hospital. Her name was not available.
Initial reports indicated the girl was running across the street at 7:08 a.m. when she was hit by a Chevrolet Impala driven by a man, whose identity and age were not made available.
No charges were filed right away, but the accident remains under investigation.
