THREE OAKS, Mich. — A group of Michiana Rocketry members took part in an unusual launch this weekend near Three Oaks.
The ‘Throne Thrusters’ have spent nearly two-and-a-half years converting a porta-potty into a make-shift rocket, and finally got to see their creation blast off Saturday.
According to a release, the porta-potty launched using a cluster of seven motors and weighed almost 450 pounds.
