GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- A semi pulling a flat bed of steel rolled over the a downtown Grand Rapids ramp, closing the ramp during the morning commute.
The semi's load of rolled steel spilled onto the ramp and shoulder.. Part of the ramp's concrete wall was also damaged.
The crash took place shortly after 8 a.m., and the ramp was expected to be closed for some time to clear the semi, trailer, and rolls of steel.
Traffic on eastbound I-196 backed up to Market Avenue.
