TEXAS TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Kalamazoo County sheriff’s deputies were involved in a standoff Wednesday morning.
The incident unfolded near the intersection of O Avenue and 2nd Street, not far from I-94.
The Kalamazoo County undersheriff said only that the man was 53 years old and refused to come out of the house.
A large SWAT trailer could be seen at the scene, along with two ambulances and a number of police units.
