Wild safari right in West Michigan for a bargain price

ALTO, Mich. — They run wild in Africa and hop across the land in Australia, but there is no need to board a plane to see some of the most amazing creatures from around the world when you can drive only a few miles.

Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park, 8313 Pratt Lake Drive SE, is offering $1 off admission thru Friday, Aug. 29, when you tell them at the gate that you are a Smart Shopper.

It’s a great time to take advantage of one last family fun day before school gets in full swing!

Smart Shopper Prices (reflecting $1 savings)

  • Adults 12 & over- now $9
  • Seniors 62 & over-now $7
  • Ages 3 to 11- now $7
  • ages 2 and under are ALWAYS FREE!

Among the 80 acres are giraffes that you can feed, lemurs, kangaroos, ostrich, monkeys, an alligator pond, and so much more! If you need to take a break, enjoy the picnic area and the playground before boarding the safari ride through the park.

Monday: 10 a.m.-6p.m.

Tuesday: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

Wednesday thru Saturday: 10 a.m. – 6p.m.

Sunday: Noon to 6 p.m.

Open Labor Day: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
