HOLLAND, Mich. –Through the ups and downs of the economy, it’s always impressive when a West Michigan business can continue to prosper. Moynihan Gallery, 28 8th Street, is one of those places.
Not only can you explore and buy wonderful art along with gifts, but last fall they added a new shop called Candle-ology inside their own. With more than 100 scents to choose from, you can buy just a single scent soy candle, wax tart, reed diffuser, or goat’s milk soap bar.
On top of all of that, there is also an area where you can blend two to three scents together to make your own creation. There is a bar area where staff will help you blend oils. When that part is complete, you can even design your own label. Come back in 40 to 75 minutes to take your creation home.

Typically, it’s best to be in a one to four person group, however. The shop does host private parties along with corporate events.
