ALAMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person was taken to the hospital after a driver in a pick up truck failed to yield the right of way, causing a crash.
On July 20, around 6:30 p.m., a black Dodge Ram pick up at the intersection of West B Avenue and North Ravine Road did not yield to a vehicle heading north. The victim’s car went off the road, flipped over, and ended up on its roof. The victim, Bobbie Sue Prause, 48, was trapped in the vehicle until Alamo Fire and Rescue arrived at the scene. She was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office says the pick up truck has larger wheels, a push bumper and fog lights in the front, as well as a large, silver toolbox in the back. They also say that the front end should have heavy damage.
The sheriff’s office is looking for information on the identity and location of the driver. Anyone with information can call the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office at (269) 383-8748 or Silent Observer at (269) 343-2100.
