ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. – Investigators in Allegan County released the name of the young man who died in a weekend crash.
Twenty-two-year-old Caleb Heath, Hersey, Mich., was killed Saturday night in the Salem Township crash at 142nd Avenue and 26th Street.
Investigators said a vehicle traveling east on 142nd Avenue crashed into another vehicle that was traveling north on 26th Street. Emergency crews at the scene said it appears Heath did not yield the right of way. He died at the scene.
The driver of the other car was taken to a nearby hospital. The person’s condition was not released.
According to Heath’s Facebook page, he was a 2010 graduate of Reed City High School.
