GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (July 1, 2014) — The U.S. has made it to what is called the Knockout Round in the World Cup, and the match between the U.S. and Belgium will be seen on a big screen TV in Ah-Nab-Awen Park at 4 p.m.
Fans are invited to bring their own food, but alcohol is not permitted in the park. Food vendors will be available.
The whole event is put on by Downtown Grand Rapids, Inc, a coalition of various downtown groups.
SpeakEZ Lounge has hosted a number of World Cup parties, and the business is tying in with this event by encouraging fans to meet at SpeakEZ and march to the match viewing in the park.
