DETROIT (March 28, 2014, CNN) — U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, announced Friday that he will not run for reelection at the end of this year.
The Michigan Republican, who made the announcement on Detroit’s WJR radio station, will host a nationally syndicated radio program that will talk about national security issues and other news of the day.
He was first elected to Michigan’s 8th Congressional District in 2000.
