GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (March 20, 2014) — While things are still looking pretty drab outside, it is all about Art in Bloom at the Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM), starting at 5p.m. Friday, March 21 and ending on Sunday, March 23 at 4p.m.
The challenge is for 19 local floral designers to depict a work of art or sculpture within the GRAM, as an arrangement. Art in Bloom is also a great opportunity for the public to weigh in on their favorites. One lucky designer will win the People’s Choice Award. Voting begins on Friday and the winner will be announced at 3p.m. Sunday, following the Sunday Classical Concert Series.
The GRAM is offering $3 off admission, from 10 a.m. to Noon on Saturday for FOX17 Smart Shoppers!
