Crash Closes M-6

WYOMING, Mich. (March 6, 2014) — A one-car crash closed westbound M-6 at Byron Center Avenue during the morning commute Thursday.

Two people were injured, one of them pinned in and unresponsive.

Early calls to dispatchers indicated the car may have gone airborne when it left the road. It then hit the base of an ITS sign.

Westbound traffic was routed off the expressway to Byron Center Avenue. Eastbound traffic was stopped when Aeromed arrived and landed on the westbound lanes.
