COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Residents in a Kalamazoo County neighborhood told police they thought something was wrong about a house in the 6500 block of Wright Street.

They were right.

Based on neighbor’s suspicions, the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department (KCSD) got a search warrant and early Thursday found signs of a methamphetamine lab in addition to items used in making meth.

Three people in the home were arrested, two 27-year-olds and one 22-year-old. KCSD did not give more on the suspects’ gender or names.

Not far away, KCSD used a police dog to uncover the makings of a meth lab inside a vehicle in the 5800 block of Comstock Avenue. This discovery was also in response to a complaint from the public. No arrests were made, but police aim to keep looking into it.
