GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — A woman has been arrested in the investigation into the homicide of Jose Hernandez, the man whose body was found under the snow in his apartment parking lot.
Maryann Castorena, 39, of Park Township near Holland, was arrested Tuesday after she was interviewed on January 9 by Ottawa County Sheriff’s investigators. She is charged with lying during a felony investigation and is being held on $1 million bond.
Casorena is described as Hernandez’s former girlfriend.
Dozens of interviews have been conducted, said the sheriff’s office, which pointed out the woman has not been directly charged in the homicide.
