GRAND RAPIDS, Mich —
Hope and Calvin men’s basketball teams met Saturday afternoon for the 186th time.
Sophomore Alex Eidson (Grand Haven) led all scorers with 23 points connecting on 6 of 7 3 point shots as the Flying Dutchmen beat the Knights 71-63. Calvin was led by Tyler Kruis (Calvin Christian) who had 15 points. Hope improves to 2-0 (MIAA) and 8-5 overall, Calvin falls to 1-1 (MIAA) and 9-4 overall.
Calvin will play at Hope on Wednesday February 5.
