LOWELL, Mich. — Two boys thought to have been taken by their father after a supervised visit Monday were found Tuesday near M-21 in the Lowell area, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department said.
The boys, Jack Charlson, 6, and 4-year-old Colt Charlson, 4, of Georgetown Township in Ottawa County, have been reunited with their mother.
Wade Elliot Charlson, 37, of Holland, was taken into custody and will probably undergo a mental health evaluation.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department had been in touch with Charlson overnight.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Department assisted.
