WOODLAND, Mich. — The junction of M-66 and M-50 was closed Tuesday morning due to a car-semi crash.
A 26-year-old Barry County woman was driving southbound on M-66 when she slid into the back of the semi. Roads were icy at the time. The semi was parked illegally on the side of the road, waiting to enter scales.
The woman was not responsive when first responders arrived, but she was conscious when taken to a Grand Rapids hospital.
Requests for Aero Med had to be declined because the helicopters were grounded by the weather.
The crash took place around 7:30 a.m.
