GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- Many West Michigan communities are offering FREE Thanksgiving dinners, offering not only a warm meal, but a great time to get to know the people around you.

Saturday, Nov. 23, Free Thanksgiving Event

  • 2p.m.: Hackley Library, 316 W. Webster, Muskegon, free Thanksgiving crafts for families

Sunday, Nov. 24, Free Thanksgiving Meal

  • Free Thanksgiving meal: 12p.m. – 2p.m, Guiding Light Mission, 255 Division Ave.

 Wednesday, Nov. 27, Free Thanksgiving Meals

  • Jenison Senior High Cafeteria, 2140 Bauer Rd.: 6:15 p.m.(click here for tickets to this event)
  • Degage Ministries, 144 Division Ave. South: 6p.m. for Heartside Residents
  • First Baptist Church, 80 E. Michigan, Battle Creek: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

 Thursday, Nov. 28, Free Thanksgiving Meals

  • Christ the King Hall, 9596 Reed Rd., Howard City: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • DeVos Place (Hosted by Mel Trotter Ministries), Grand Rapids: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Gobles High Cafeteria, 409 N. State St., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Hosted by Journey Family Church and SALT Ministry)
  • Chapel of the Lakes Lutheran Church, 9407 90th Ave., Mecosta: 1 p.m. (Hosted by The Mecosta Area Committee)
