KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Power outages from a windy night hit Kalamazoo County the worst, with more than 4,000 customers left without electricity as of 6 a.m. Friday. That number had dropped to under 1,000 by 7 a.m.
Other areas of Kent and Ionia counties were also hit with widespread outages. But power was restored to many places by 7 a.m.
