Pumpkin Launching Action and More at South Haven Fall Fest

SOUTH HAVEN, Mich.- For the second year, the city of South Haven is celebrating fall in grand fashion. On October 11th and 12th, there will be array of interactive activities and events at the Fall Fest.

Friday at 7p.m., everything kicks off with square dancing for all ages and levels at Joe’s Bar & Grill.

On Saturday, a Kiddie Funland runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and has everything from an inflatable obstacle course, a mechanical bull and pony rides to themed games. Something you don’t want to miss is the Fall Fest Pumpkin Launch, 12p.m. at the South Marina. Using a giant sling shot, pumpkins are launched into the Black River.  If someone sinks a hole-in-one through an inner tube, they win cash, Outhouse Races are also quite a comical event, taking place at 2p.m. on Huron St.

It’s not a festival without food and drinks! Taste of Fall, featuring various restaurants,  will start at 3p.m. on Saturday at the pavilion.
