BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The driver of a vehicle that hit and severly injured a motorcyclist and then left the scene is being sought by police, who are seeking information from the public.
The crash took place around 2:40 a.m. on August 21 in the intersection of Jackson Street and 20th Street in Battle Creek. A car made a left turn from westbound Jackson to southbound 20th in front of the second of two motorcycles going through the intersection. The motorcyclist, Christopher Miranda, 21, was badly hurt.
The vehicle that left the scene should be damaged on the passenger side. Police don’t have much of a description of the car except that it might be a Chrysler product.
