GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — Fourteen miles of US-31 will be resurfaced beginning Wednesday, September 4, but lane closures will be restricted to nighttime hours.
The northbound and southbound lanes will receive new asphalt between Grand Haven and Norton Shores just south of the I-96 interchange.
The project is scheduled to continue from Wednesday to November 4, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
A weekend-long lane closure is planned. Northbound US-31/Beacon Boulevard will be reduced to one lane from Madison Street to the drawbridge from 7 p.m. Friday, September 6, until 6 a.m. Monday, September 9.
