BATTLE CREEK, Mich — Cam Gibson is the son of former major leaguer Kirk Gibson, but he has had a successful freshman season of his own at Michigan State, also his father’s alma mater. Now, Gibson is playing very well for the Battle Creek Bombers in the Northwoods League.
