Dad May Have To Dodge A Shower On Father’s Day

Posted

WEST MICHIGAN – Don’t be scared by the headline for Father’s Day on Sunday. Right now, the best chance for a few showers (and perhaps a t’storm or two) are Saturday night in to Sunday morning. Most of this weekend will be dry, and it appears as if any rain will depart the area by Sunday morning.

While we’re not expecting any strong or severe storms, a few showers may put a brief damper on outdoor plans if they fall in the Saturday evening to Sunday morning time frame. Temperatures will be comfortable in the mid/upper 70s on Saturday, and around 80 or so on Sunday.

Longer range forecast models indicate we may begin to see a bigger June type warm up in to the mid 80s by the end of next week. Stay tuned to later forecasts to see of it pans out.
