SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. — The City of South Haven is scrambling to restore power after last night’s storms as the Waterfront Film Festival is scheduled to kick off tonight.
FOX 17 spoke with Mayor Robert Burr who says they’re working to address the problem, but it’s not clear when power will be restored. He adds the city does have generators to try and provide a temporary solution.
Consumers Energy doesn’t cover the city of South Haven, but confirmed that 97.2% of their customers surrounding the city are without power, and those areas could stay that way until 4:00p.m. Friday.
