WYOMING, Mich — Godwin Heights senior point guard Braima Hai signed a national letter of intent Thursday, to play basketball at Davenport University next season.
Hai helped lead the Wolverines to 23 wins and reaach the Class B state semifinals this past season.
Davenport went 27-7, won a Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference regular season title and earned a berth in the NAIA division 2 national tournament.
Hai is looking forward to the challenge of the next level, “I have to get a lot bigger, more fit, it’s another level of basketball i’ll be playing with bigger guys, stronger guys, more intelligant guys so I have to make sure I am ready for that big move.”
