WAYLAND, Mich. — Some people woke up without power Tuesday morning after storms moved through West Michigan.
As of 5:30 a.m., about 1,100 Consumers Energy customers had to electricity:
In and north of Wayland: 612 customers
East of Rockford: 335
South of Mattawan: 117
Power was restored in Wayland and Rockford by 6 a.m.
A power outage in Calhoun County was reported after 6:30 a.m. affecting 419 Consumers customers in and north of Tekonsha.
