COMSTOCK PARK, Mich — There will be high school football at Fifth Third Ballpark once again this fall as OK Bronze rivals Greenville and Forest Hills Northern will meet there at 7 P.M. on October 11.
Forest Hills Northern will be the home team and part of the proceeds will go to the Forest Hills Athletic Department. Tickets will be $5 for students and $7 for adults.
Both the Yellowjackets and Huskies were 4-5 in 2012 with Northern winning at Greenville in week 8, 17-3. Both schools figure to be playoff contenders in 2013. Greenville returns double digits starters led by running back Carter Stephens and 2-way starters Teagan Boni (LG/OLB) and Chase Harrington (TE/OLB). Northern brings back running backs Marcus Matthews and Jocob Howe.
Last season, Forest Hills Central beat East Grand Rapids, 43-17 at Fifth Third Ballpark.
