GRANDVILLE, Mich.- Four-legged friends hold a special place in the hearts of many people. While it’s tempting to toss them a piece of your tasty chocolate cake, it’s simply not good for them. A new bakery in Grandville makes tasty dog treats while offering services to pamper pooches, as well.
Dogwood Barkery, located in the Design 1 Plaza at 4693 Wilson Avenue SW specializes in healthy, fresh-baked treats for Fido. Does your dog have a special birthday or other life-event? They even make healthy dog cakes, too! Also, take a look at this list of treats: Lolli-Pups, Blueberry Twist, Carob & Bacon Bark along with Pup-Kin Muffins.
Dogwood also offers salon services ranging from a nice bath all the way up to hair cuts and blow drying.
Basic eight week dog obedience classes will also start back up on May 7. They will be Tuesday and Thursday from 6p.m. and 7:15 p.m. and cost $160. For more information you can call 616-288-3130. Dogwood will also hold a grand opening on April 27, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
