MUSKEGON, Mich. — A Muskegon woman is in the county jail tonight, accused of trying to hire someone to kill her husband.
Julia Charlene Merfeld, 21, was arraigned Thursday afternoon. She’s being held on $500,000 bond on a charge of solicitation of murder.
Investigators say Merfeld was arrested on April 5.
Solicitation of murder is a felony with a maximum sentence of life in prison.
